Overview

Tido is a modern productivity app for managing tasks and capturing quick notes. Built with Expo and React Native, it provides a solid foundation for creating a fast, polished productivity experience across iOS and Android.

Getting started

Project structure

Tido follows a clean and scalable project structure, with the @/* alias pointing to the src/* directory:

• src/app/: Expo Router routes and layouts
• src/components/: shared and reusable UI components
• src/constants/: theme configuration including colors, fonts and spacing
• src/hooks/: reusable application hooks
• src/global.css: global styles and Tailwind directives
• assets/: application fonts, icons and images

Current state

Tido is currently in its foundation phase. The core stack and development architecture are in place, while the main productivity features, including task management and notes, are being built.

Development conventions

• Follow the Expo SDK documentation when implementing platform APIs and native features.
• Use NativeWind and the existing design system to keep the interface consistent.
• Reuse and adapt Lambda UI components as a foundation instead of rebuilding common patterns from scratch.
• Use React Native Reanimated for polished interactions, transitions, and motion.
• Keep components reusable and application logic separated from presentation.
